Senior field hockey player Julianna Sterling (Salisbury, Md./James M. Bennett) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week.  Sterling scored the game-winning goal on Senior Day in Washington College's 3-1 win over visiting Dickinson on Saturday.

Sterling snapped a 1-1 tie 3:47 into the third quarter on an unassisted goal to put the Shorewomen ahead for good at 2-1.  It was her career-best sixth goal of the season as Washington clinched a winning Centennial Conference record (6-4) and will be in its first conference tournament in five years tomorrow at Ursinus.

This is Sterling's second career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
