Junior sailor Kennedy Jones (Burke, Va., Christchurch School) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Jones served as crew in the winning A Division boat at the Riley Cup this weekend hosted by Old Dominion.

Jones and senior skipper Stewart Gurnell (Old Saybrook, Conn., Xavier) led WC to victories in the first and 11th races, along with a pair of second and third place finishes. Washington finished with 65 points, three points better than second place Navy who finished with 68 points in the A Division. The division consisted of 16 boats.   

This is Jones' second career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
