Junior volleyball player Angelina Schaber (Carlsbad, Calif., San Dieguito Academy) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Schaber tallied a team-best 43 kills, including a career-best 20 in a win over Notre Dame (Md.), in a 2-1 week for the Shorewomen.

Schaber averaged 3.58 kills per set and hit .274 in three matches this past week for WC. In a five-set win at Notre Dame (Md.) on Saturday, she became the first WC player to net 20 or more finishers in five years with her match-topping 20 kills. Later that day versus Gwynedd Mercy, she totaled 14 kills and hit .324 as the Shorewomen won in four sets. Last Tuesday evening versus Salisbury, she had a team-best nine kills.

This is Schaber's first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
