Senior sailors Stewart Gurnell (Old Saybrook, Conn., Xavier) and Andrew Tran (Bel Air, Md., Bel Air) share this week's Shoreman of the Week honor. Gurnell and Tran won the A Division at the Webb/Wollum Regatta this weekend hosted by Christopher Newport.

Gurnell, who served as skipper, and Tran, who served as crew, won the fifth, eighth, 17th and 18th races as Washington won the A Division by two points over Christopher Newport. WC had 54 points, while Christopher Newport had 56. The duo also had four second and third place finishes.    

This is Gurnell's fourth career Shoreman of the Week honor, while Tran earned the weekly honor for the first time.
