Senior women's soccer player Lauren Maynor (Ellicott City, Md., Howard) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Maynor netted the only goal of the game early in the second half in the Shorewomen's season opening win at Stevenson on Thursday night.

Maynor scored the game-winning goal, the first of her career, 15 seconds into the second half as she scored off of a rebound of her own shot for lone score of Washington College's 1-0 win at Stevenson. The victory was the team's 10th straight season opening triumph dating back to 2012. 

This is Maynor's first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
