Red Devils Top Shoremen, 94-80

Frink Scores 17 Points and Pulls Down Contest-High Nine Rebounds for Hosts

CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Dickinson got a game-high 30 points from Martin Mann on its way to a 94-80 win over host Washington College on Saturday afternoon on Finnegan Court at Penny J. Fall Gymnasium in Centennial Conference men's basketball action.  The Red Devils are now 3-9 overall and 1-4 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen fall to 1-10 and 0-5 respectively.

How It Happened
- After the Shoremen scored the first basket of the game on a Nick Romeo jumper 52 seconds in, the Red Devils scored 15 of the next 17 points to take a 15-4 lead with 15:24 remaining in the first half on a Mann jumper in the paint.
- Washington would answer with an 11-5 run to cut the lead to 20-15 with 10:47 to go in the stanza on a Ryan Lang three.
- Leading 25-19, the Red Devils scored 12 straight points to take a 37-19 advantage with 3:39 left in the first on a pair of Randy Shephard free throws.
- Dickinson would score the last six points of the opening half to lead 48-26 at the break.
- In the second half, the guests would push their lead to as many as 26 points on three occasions, the final time coming with 16:43 left in the game on a Mann lay-in, 58-32.
- The closest WC got the rest of the way was 12 points on a Ismael Baqai layup after he stole ball to cut the Dickinson to 92-80 with 21 seconds left in the game.

For The Shoremen (1-10, 0-5 CC)
- Kedrick Frink (team-bests 17 points and five assists, game-topping nine rebounds), Sam Corrao (13 points), Davis Bland (12 points and two steals)
- The Shoremen shot 42% (28-for-67) from the floor, 32% (12-for-37) from three-point range and 67% (12-for-18) from the foul line. 
- Washington outscored Dickinson in second-chance points (12-8) and bench points (35-19).
- The Shoremen had a +12 rebounding margin, 40-28, and had 18 turnovers.

For Dickinson (3-9, 1-4 CC)
- Mann (game-best 30 points on 15-for-17 shooting and team-topping eight rebounds), Shephard (contest-highs of 11 assists and four steals), Anthoney Goeb (15 points), Brandon Wiercinski (13 points), Isaiah Edmond (11 points)  
- The Red Devils shot 62% (37-for-60) from the floor, 35% (7-for-20) from three-point range and 59% (13-for-22) from the free throw stripe.    
- Dickinson outscored WC in points in the paint (54-24), transition points (14-6) and points off turnovers (28-9).
- The Red Devils had 12 turnovers in the contest.

Notes
- Frink has scored 17 points in back-to-back games as he had 17 at Ursinus on Wednesday night.
