Senior field hockey player Alexis Tackney (Annapolis, Md./St. Mary's) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week.  Tackney had assists on two of the team's three goals this week and finished as the squad's leader in assists this season with five.

On Saturday in a 2-1 win over visiting Gettysburg, Tackney had the assist on the first goal of the game by MaryCate Anson 4:01 into the third quarter and sparked a run of two goals in 42 seconds.  On Wednesday versus #21 Swarthmore, Tackney handed out the helper on a score by Ashley Swan.

This is Tackney's first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
