CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Senior forward/midfielder
Audrey Flanagan (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) factored into all three goals with two goals and one assist, including the game-winning goal 27 seconds into the game, to give host Washington College its first all-time victory over visiting Haverford, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium in Centennial Conference women's soccer action. The Shorewomen are now 5-3-3 overall and 2-2-1 in conference play, while the Fords are 5-6-1 and 1-4-0 respectively.

How It Happened
- In the first minute,
Emily Morris made a pass from near midfield that Flanagan tracked down and was able from the top of the 18 on the left side chip the ball into the net to put WC ahead 1-0. It was the team's first goal against the Fords since
Stephanie Bradley '06 scored on October 12, 2004.
- Less than three minutes into the second half, Flanagan dribbled down the left side and her cross found the foot of
Bridget Whiteside from about five yards out and shot found the upper right corner of the goal near the right post to put WC ahead 2-0 at the 47:53 mark.
- Flanagan completed her five point effort at 61:08 when she received a long pass from
Grace Morris and chipped in her second score from about 25 yards out to put WC ahead 3-0.
- Haverford got three shots the rest of the way, but all were saved by Washington goalie
Hailey Sharpe.

Notes
- Flanagan, who had a career-best five points in the win, was named the Goose Nation TV Shorewoman Player of the Game.
- Flanagan's goal was the first goal in the series since Haverford's
Katie Safter scored on October 10, 2018. The two teams played to three 0-0 ties in 2019, 2021 and 2022. The two squads did not play in 2020 due to COVID.
- Prior to today, Washington had scored just two goals against Haverford, one each in 2003 and 2004. Bradley scored for both times for the Shorewomen.
- The Fords now lead the all-time series 21-1-3.
