Shorewomen Fall in semi-final at Gettysburg, 70-40

Washington’s playoff run ends on the road.

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Washington College women's basketball team traveled to Gettysburg Friday night for a semi-final matchup of the Centennial Conference Tournament. After pulling off the upset at Dickinson earlier in the week, the Shorewomen were unable over come second-seeded Gettysburg. The Bullets jumped out to a big lead early, taking the first period 25-6. That lead proved too much as the Bullets lead never went below 20 points the rest of the way in a 70-40 win.
