Freshman sailor Rachel Morgen (Bend, Ore./Summit) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Morgen served as crew for the winning A Division boat at the Ocean County Spring Open this weekend in New Jersey as the team won the overall regatta.

Morgen and senior skippper Stewart Gurnell led WC to victories in 11 of the 13 races. Washington finished with 17 points, 32 points better than second place Hampton who finished with 49 points in the A Division as the division consisted of 13 boats. The Shore Sailors won the overall regatta with 65 points, eight better than second place Hampton who finished with 73 points.

This is Morgen's second career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
