ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Visiting Washington College picked up its third shutout of the season with a 9-0 win over host Muhlenberg on Friday afternoon at Kern Field Courts in women's tennis action.

Doubles
- The Shorewomen won all three doubles matches on the afternoon. In No. 2 doubles, WC's
Soleil Namunyola and
Piper Sartison came away with an 8-1 win over
Caitlin Bestrycki and
Giulia Gerschel in the first match to finish.
Eva Kading and
Bin Nguyen won at No. 1 doubles over the Mules' duo of
Sophia Fromm and
Kety Gadamashvili, 8-0, in the second match to conclude. Washington completed the sweep at third doubles as
Katie Ruppert and
Isabella Sorhegui topped Muhlenberg's
Malin Hermanson and
Julia Lennon, 8-2.
Singles
- WC took a 4-0 lead as Namunyola won at the top flight over Gadamashvili, 6-0, 6-0.
- Kading clinched the match for the Shorewomen at No. 2 with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Fromm.
- Sartison coasted to a 6-2, 6-1 win at third singles over Gerschel.
- Fourth through sixth singles were played as pro sets with the Shorewomen already securing victory in the match. Nguyen won the first of the pro sets at No. 4 with an 8-2 victory over Bestrycki.
- Sorhegui took care of
Stephanie Wolff at six singles, 8-0.
- Ruppert finished off the sweep for the guests with an 8-5 victory over Hermanson at No. 5.
Notes
- The Shorewomen, ranked 14th in the Atlantic South Region are 5-7 on the season, while the Mules are 2-10. WC is 3-3 in the conference, while Muhlenberg is 0-7 in the Centennial.
- WC previously blanked St. Mary's (Md.) on March 15 and Ursinus on April 5. Both of those scores were 9-0.
