BALTIMORE, Md. – Host #10 Johns Hopkins advanced to the final of the Centennial Conference Tournament in men's tennis with a 5-0 win over visiting Washington College in the semifinal round of the conference tournament on Thursday afternoon at the Tennis Courts at Johns Hopkins. The Blue Jays are the second seed in the tournament, while the Shoremen are seeded third.

Doubles
- The Blue Jays won all three doubles matches to lead 3-0.

Joe DeMarco and
George Jiang at third doubles won the first match to complete in an 8-3 win over
Christian Gruyon and
Ryohei Kawai.
- First doubles finished next as
Thomas Yu and
James Yu, the third ranked doubles tandem in the region, won 8-4 over
Karl Hoegstedt and
Andre-Remi Jakobi, ranked sixth in the region.
- In No. 2 doubles,
Daniel Ardila and
Jonathan Zhang topped
Jack Fanshawe and
Landon Strober in the last match to finish, 8-4.
Singles
- Fifth singles was the first match to come to a close as the hosts' James Yu won 6-0, 6-1 over
Aaradith Ravichandran to give Johns Hopkins a 4-0 lead.
- Thomas Yu, ranked first in the region, secured the win for the Blue Jays as he topped Hoegstedt, ranked eighth in the Atlantic South, 6-0, 6-1.

Mason Liu, ranked 17th in the region, bested Jakobi 7-6 (7-3) in the first set at No. 3 when the match was stopped due to Johns Hopkins clinching the match. Ardila took a 7-5 win in the opening set at four singles over Fanshawe when the match ended.
- Zhang, ranked 18th in the Atlantic South, won the first set versus Strober 6-3 and were tied 2-2 at No. 2 singles when the contest ended.

Marco Azur was leading Gruyon, 6-3, 5-1, at No. 6 at the time of the match coming to a close.

- Washington, ranked 15th in the Atlantic South Region, finishes its season at 7-9, while #10 Johns Hopkins, ranked third in the region is now 18-3 on the season.
- The Shoremen were competing in their 12th conference tournament, which commenced in 2006.
