CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Washington College women's tennis played host Wednesday to the Franklin & Marshall Diplomats on Saturday at Schottland Tennis Center. After earning a point in doubles action, the Shorewomen were unable to notch a victory in singles, giving the match to the Diplomats 8-1.Â

- The Shorewomen took a point in one doubles match as the Diplomats led 2-1 heading into singles. Â
- In first doubles, the duo of Maria Christina Dizaz-Nazario and
Eva Kading took an 8-6 win.
- Soliel Namunyola and
Piper Sartison dropped their contest 8-5.Â

Singles
-Diaz-Nazario was forced to withdraw, giving F&M's Jenna Harrison the first win of singles action.Â

Soleil Namunyola fell in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0 to Cassidy Landau. Â

Eva Kading was defeated by Mackenzie Sherman 6-1, 0-6, 4-6.Â
