YORK, Pa. – Shoremen soccer headed north to York to take on the Spartans in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday night. The Shoremen started fast with a
Katim Njie (Junior/Montgomery Village, Md.) goal inside the opening six minutes as he finished off a through ball from
Harrison Malone (Senior/Media, Pa.). They would hold that advantage until ten minutes into the second half when York's Brayden Safley headed home the equalizer. Washington continued to pepper the York goal but could not find a second finish as the two teams settled for a draw.Â
