Junior men's swimmer William Schmidt (Salisbury, Md./Wicomico) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Schmidt nabbed three victories and was part of a winning relay in the Shoremen's 177-82 victory over visiting Elizabethtown on Saturday.

The junior captured the 100-yard backstroke (54.84), 200 backstroke (2:00.90) and 200 individual medley (2:00.58). In the 200 freestyle relay, he was joined by Nathan Rawa, Jay Dadhania and Mike Lee to win relay in 1:29.41.

This is Schmidt's second career Shoreman of the Week honor.
