Junior men's swimmer
Nathan Rawa (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Rawa shared the bronze medal in the 50-yard freestyle and improved on three school records he owned this past Thursday-Sunday at the 2026 Centennial Conference Championships.
The junior earned a share of the bornze in the 50 freestyle final on Friday night with Johns Hopkins'
Michael Ivanov with a time of 20.44, breaking his own mark he had established on Friday morning in the preliminary round (20.59). It was his second all-time bronze medal as he garnered bronze in the 100 backstroke at last year's championship. Rawa broke another one of his own program marks on Saturday morning in the 100 butterfly in 49.08 and clinched a spot in the A Final. In the A Final, he placed sixth in 49.11. Rawa set his third record on Sunday in the 100 freestyle in a time of 45.90, a mark in which he would eclipse later in the lead leg of the 400 freestyle relay, when he completed the first 100 yards in 45.68. In addition to the 400 freestyle relay, he was a part of three different relay teams who had the team's best time at the championships.
This is Rawa's sixth career Shoreman of the Week honor.
