CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Muhlenberg closed out the game on an 11-3 run to turn a 53-51 deficit into a 62-56 win on Saturday afternoon over host Washington College on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference men's basketball action on Finnegan Court at Penny J. Fall Gymnasium. The Mules improve to 4-8 overall and 3-2 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen fall to 3-9 and 1-4 respectively.

How It Happened
- The Mules scored the game's first seven points to take a 7-0 lead just 3:19 into the game on two
Brandon Goldberg.
- Washington would come back to tie the game at 13-13 with 10:08 to go in the first half on a three-pointer by
Jason Zielinski.
- Goldberg would give Muhlenberg a 32-30 lead at halftime by converting a layup with 27 ticks left in the stanza.
- In the second half, Zielinski would put the Shoremen ahead for the first time with 6:51 left, 47-45, on a three that capped a 10-2 run for the home team.

Kedrick Frink gave WC its last lead of the game, 53-51, on a layup with 4:15 to go before Muhlenberg's
Jayson Williams-Johnson answered with a jumper in the paint with 3:22 left.

Peter Stanton-Shepherd drained a jumper with 2:35 remaining to give the Mules the lead for good at 55-53 to highlight a run of nine unanswered points for the visitors.
