Shevitz Tallies Game-Winner From Radebaugh 67 Seconds After Dickinson Ties Game

CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Junior forward Emma Campbell (Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr) scored the game-winning goal with 4:27 to go in the fourth quarter on a feed from freshman midfielder Tara Radebaugh (New Freedom, Pa./Maryvale Prep [Md.]) to break a 1-1 tie in a 2-1 victory over visiting Dickinson on Saturday night in Centennial Conference field hockey action on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium.  The Shorewomen are now 8-6 overall and 3-3 in the Centennial, while the Red Devils drop to 4-9 and 1-5 respectively.

How It Happened
- Washington got onto the board 9:29 into the first quarter off of a penalty corner.  Radebaugh played the ball over to Natalie Watkinson whose shot hit the post and then was inadvertently knocked in by the Dickinson goalie to give the home side a 1-0 lead.  The score was Watkinson's first career goal.
- The Red Devils would tie the game at 1-1 with 5:34 left in the game on a rebound of a blocked shot on the left side.
- Just 67 seconds later, Shevitz would score the winner for the Shorewomen as she redirected Radebaugh's pass from the top of the circle at the left post that capped a successful penalty corner for the home side.
- WC prevented Dickinson from taking another shot in the final 4:27 to come away with the win.
