SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Host Swarthmore scored a goal in each half in a 2-0 win over visiting Washington College on Wednesday evening at Clothier Field in a Centennial Conference women's soccer contest. The Garnet improved to 8-3-5 overall and 5-2-2 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen drop to 7-3-7 and 3-3-3 respectively.

How It Happened
- Washington's
Reagan Longridge took the first shot on goal of the game in the seventh minute, but it was saved.
- The Garnet took a 1-0 lead at the with 4:14 left before halftime on a shot into the lower left corner off of a corner kick. Swarthmore would take the 1-0 lead into the break.
- Trailing 1-0,
Sophie Kilbride had a chance to tie it, but the shot was stopped.
- Swarthmore would get its insurance goal with 6:17 remaining in the contest off of a rebound of a shot that hit the right post to make it 2-0.
- The Shorewomen would get two shots the rest of the way, but both were wide right.
