Freshman men's soccer player
Yasir German (Ardmore, Pa./Lower Merion) and freshman
Trice Moore (Worton, Md./Kent County) of trap and skeet share this week's Shoreman of the Week honor. German scored a goal in each of the team's games this past week, while Moore won HOA (High Over All) at the Battle of the Bay on Saturday.
German started the Shoremen's comeback against #19 Swarthmore in the 59th minute with the team's first goal of the contest that saw the Shoremen turn a 2-0 halftime deficit into a 3-2 victory. On Saturday at Ursinus, he scored the game's lone goal exactly 11 minutes into the contest.
Moore captured the HOA in the second round of a shootout after connecting on 178 out of 200 targets in Trap (43), Doubles Trap (42), Doubles Skeet (43) and Skeet (48). Moore won the Doubles Trap discipline with his 42 targets hit. He helped WCTS win the Battle of the Bay over Navy and Delaware (869-782-703).
This is first career Shoreman of the Week honor for both German and Moore.
