GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Host Gettysburg scored the game-winning goal with 2:19 remaining in the fourth quarter and needed a save with just over a minute to go to preserve the lead in a 2-1 win over visiting Washington College in a Centennial Conference field hockey game on Saturday afternoon on Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium. The Bullets finish the season 11-7 overall and 4-6 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen conclude their campaign at 10-8 and 5-5 respectively.

How It Happened
- After a scoreless first quarter, the Bullets struck 2:44 into the second quarter to cap a transition opportunity on a shot from the top of the circle into the left side of the cage
- The Shorewomen would even the game with 8:40 to go before halftime when
Erin Houlihan tipped in a feed off of a penalty corner at the left post. It was Houlihan's first collegiate goal.
- Gettysburg would score the winner with 2:19 remaining off of a rebound and tucked it inside the left post.
- Washington had one last shot with 1:02 to go by
Kat Esposito, but it was turned away by the Gettysburg goalie and the home side was able to run out the clock.
