CARLISLE, Pa. – Host #6 Dickinson scored three goals in a 44-second span early in the second half on its way to a 6-1 win over visiting Washington College in the first round of the Centennial Conference Men's Soccer Tournament at Phyllis Joan Miller Memorial Field on Tuesday evening. The fourth seeded Red Devils improve to 14-2-3 on the season and will play top seed and #15 Johns Hopkins on Friday night in the semifinals, while the fifth seeded Shoremen drop to 8-5-6. WC will await word on a possible at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament with the selections being announced on Monday.

How It Happened
- After a scoreless first half, Dickinson struck at the 55:16 mark on a shot from about 25 yards that went into the upper right just under the crossbar. The Red Devils pushed their lead to 2-0 just 21 seconds later on a shot from 20 yards out that also went upper right just under the crossbar.
- Dickinson capped the three goals in 44 seconds on a shot from the top of the box into the upper left corner to make it 3-0 at the 56:00 mark.
- The home side added goals in the 59th, 67th and 69th minutes to round out its scoring.

Sebastien Linares got the Shoremen onto the board with 19:20 to go in the game on a score at the right post.

Notes
- This was the second all-time meeting in the conference tournament between the Shoremen and Red Devils. Washington won a 1-0 result in the first round in 2016 at home.
- In the other semifinal, third seed Muhlenberg edged six seed McDaniel, 1-0, and will visit second seed and #19 Franklin & Marshall on Friday.
