Box Score Swarthmore, PA - Washington College Women's Basketball earned their first conference win of the season over the Garnet of Swarthmore Saturday afternoon. The Shorewomen were led by Kiersten Rose with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

How It Happened
- The Shorewomen ended the first quarter trailing the Garnet by one, 13-12. Emma Robinson and Kaitlyn Boggs aided the Shorewomen in providing four points each to end the quarter.
- To get the second quarter going, Abby Meredith hit a three pointer from an assist by Karry Kelliher who secured the defensive rebound ten seconds prior. The Shorewomen went up 16-14 over the Garnet.
- Swarthmore hit a three pointer with four minutes left in the half to move the score to 20-18. Kelliher extended the Shorewomen lead by two as she put down a layup off a pass from Robinson. Kiersten Rose would have her look at a layup with 49 seconds left in the half. She sunk her chance and pushed the Shorewomen's lead so six as they headed into halftime.
- The Shorewomen opened the third quarter with a 15-5 run led by Rose scoring five points and Boggs with four. The Shorewomen led 41-27 heading into the final 10 minutes of the game.
- Washington College outscored the Garnet 12-9 in the final quarter to earn their first conference victory over Swarthmore 52-36.
