ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – Senior attacker 
Ashley Devlin (Margate City, N.J./Ocean City) became the 34th player in history of Shorewomen Lacrosse to record 100 career points as visiting Washington College got past host St. Mary's (Md.), 15-13, in a non-conference women's lacrosse game on Wednesday night at Jamie L. Roberts Stadium.  The Shorewomen improve to 2-0 on the season, while the Seahawks fall to 0-2.

How It Happened
- Washington got out to a 2-0 lead with 9:42 left in the first quarter on a 
Tobin Chambers goal from 
Abby Laubach.
- The Seahawks answered two of their own to tie the game at 2-2 with 7:10 to go in the opening stanza on a score by 
Hailey Betch from 
Colin Horton.
- Devlin tallied the next two goals for the Shorewomen to give WC a 4-2 lead after one.
- In the second quarter, Washington led 5-4 before netting three straight to take an 8-4 lead with 7:42 remaining on an 
Anna Wilson score.
- During the run, Devlin registered her 100th career point on a free position goal with 10:53 left in the second as the score gave the visitors a 7-4 lead.
- Trailing 10-5, St. Mary's got two goals in the final 93 seconds to cut the lead to 10-7 at halftime with 
Bella Dunigan scoring with nine seconds left before halftime.
- St. Mary's outscored Washington 4-2 in the third, scoring twice in the final 79 seconds of the quarter, to reduce the Shorewomen's lead to 12-11 entering the fourth quarter.  
Katelin Scala scored on a free position with seven ticks left to reduce the lead to one. 
- Washington scored three of the first four goals of the fourth quarter to take a 15-12 lead with 3:57 to go on a 
Mia Salvatierra.
- Betch would score on a free position with 1:56 left in the game on a free position tally.  St. Mary's had another free position chance with 1:11 to go to try to cut the lead to a single goal, but Horton's shot rang off the right post and Wilson got the ground ball for the Shorewomen.  WC was able to run the clock and pick up the win.

- WC went 19-for-21 in clears, scored two up goals, went 6-for-12 in free position shots and 14 ground balls.
- The Shorewomen won 17 of the game's 30 draws and held a 34-32 edge in shots.
For St. Mary's (Md.) (0-2)
- Scoring: Betch (game-best five goals and six points; assist), Horton (four goals and helper), 
MC Mortimer (two goals and assist), Scala (goal and two assists)
- In Goal: 
Allie Greeley (19:07, two saves, seven goals allowed), Annie Wise (40:53, 11 saves, eight goals allowed)

Rachel Freeman (game-bests of five ground balls and three caused turnovers)
- The Seahawks went 18-for-21 in clears and had two more turnovers than WC, 13-11.
- St. Mary's netted one up goal, went 3-for-4 in free position chances and totaled 15 ground balls.
Notes
- Devlin now has 101 all-time points on 50 goals and 51 assists.
- Prior to Devlin, the most recent Shorewoman to reach the 100-point plateau was Sutherland, who achived it on April 29, 2023, in an 18-7 win over McDaniel.
- Dating back to 2017, Washington has won four of the past five games over St. Mary's.
