HANOVER, Pa. – Host Gettysburg topped visiting Washington College, 5-1, on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference women's tennis action at the York Adams Community Tennis Association indoor courts in a match that was played to decision. The two teams were playing for the fifth seed in the upcoming Centennial Conference and the Bullets earn the five seed and will visit fourth seed Franklin & Marshall in the first round of the Centennial Conference Tournament on Tuesday, while the sixth seeded Shorewomen will travel to third seed Swarthmore, ranked 36th nationally, on Tuesday.

Doubles
- The Bullets won at third doubles as the duo
Elle Brignati and
Emma Ward picked up the win as the Shorewomen were unable to field a tandem.
- Gettysburg took the first doubles match to finish that was played at No. 2 as
Gillian Rozenfeld and
Sarah Guistwite came away with an 8-2 victory over Washington's
Isabella Sorhegui and
Piper Sartison.
- No. 1 doubles finished last and the Shorewomen's tandem of
Eva Kading and
Soleil Namunyola emerged with an 8-5 triumph over the Bullets'
Andrea Brazyte and
Avery Palandjian, 8-5.
Singles
- Brignati got a forfeit win at No. 6 singles as Washington did not field a player.

Eden Levkov put Gettysburg on the brink of victory with 6-0, 6-1 win over
Carrie Lord at No. 5.
- Brazyte clinched the match for the Bullets at No. 1 with a 7-5, 6-1 victory against Kading.
- Third singles was Palandjian up 1-0 in the third set versus Namunyola at No. 3 when the match ended. Palandjian won the first set 6-4 and Namunyola won the second set 7-5.
- Second singles went to Sartison for WC in the opening set 6-3 and Guistwite was ahead 5-3 in the second when the match concluded.
- No. 4 singles never got started as it was slated to be Sorhegui for WC and Rozenfeld for Gettysburg.
Notes
- The Shorewomen are 5-12 on the season, while the Bullets are 13-6. WC is 4-5 in the conference, while Gettysburg is 5-4 in the Centennial.
