CHESTERTOWN, Md. – The Washington College volleyball team a pair of matches in a home tri-match match on Saturday afternoon at Penny J. Fall Gymnasium in non-conference volleyball action. In the first match of the day, WC swept Rutgers-Camden, 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-17) and in the last match of the tri-match, the Shorewomen broomed Eastern Mennonite, 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-19). In the middle match, Eastern Mennonite topped Rutgers-Camden, 3-1 (25-17, 22-25, 25-22, 25-13). The Shorewomen are now 8-4 on the season.

How It Happened
- In the first set, the Shorewomen held off a late charge from the Scarlet Raptors for a two-point win as
Lindsay Saddic tallied a kill to clinch the opening set for the home side.
- WC led 22-17 before capturing the final three points to win the second set by eight as
Alexis Stubbs served an ace for the set-clinching point.
- Washington raced out to a 9-1 lead in the third set on a Saddic kill.
Logan Kenny notched a kill to secure the final point of the match for the Shorewomen.

How It Happened
- Leading 20-18 in the opening set, the Shorewomen outscored the Royals 5-2 to work out a five-point win. Saddic tallied a finisher for the set's final point.
- Trailing 14-13 in the second set, Washington used a 6-0 run to take a 19-14 lead on an ace by
Anna Titter. An attack error by Eastern Mennonite ended the set.
- WC was ahead 19-18 before going on a 6-1 run to close out the third set and match with
Colette Franck delivering the set and match finishing kill.
