Sophomore women's soccer player Kaileigh Brady (Hockessin, Del./St. Mark's) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week.  Brady scored two goals, including the game-winning score, in the Shorewomen's 3-2 season-opening win over visiting Grove City, a 2023 NCAA Tournament team, on Friday night.

Brady got the scoring started for Washington in the 39th minute following off of a rebound of a saved shot to give the Shorewomen a 1-0 lead.  With the game tied at 2-2, Brady received a pass from Sophie Kilbride and slotted the shot from the left side of the box into the lower right corner for the deciding tally with 2:59 to go in the contest.

This is Brady's first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
