Chestertown, MD – The Washington College Men's Soccer Team draws with the Spartans of York College 1-1.
Cole White tallied five saves in goal for the Shoremen.

How It Happened
- The York Spartans had the first shot of the game in the seventh minute of the first half. Washington College didn't see their first shot of the game until the 12th minute. This shot came from Katim Njie and he left it just right of the goal.
- The Shoremen were outshot by York in the first half four to six, Cole White recorded three saves in the half.
- The first and only goal for the Shoremen came from Tshazi Kamau assisted by Njie in the 63rd minute of play. Njie's pass was tipped by the goalie glove leaving Kamau an open net to sink the ball into.
- The Spartans scored in the 82nd minute of play as York was able to tap the ball in off a corner.
- Grant Sopa had the next and last shot of the game for the Shoremen. His shot to the bottom right was saved by York's goalie. That was the last opportunity either team would have as the game ended in a draw 1-1.
