Chestertown, MD – The Washington College Men's Basketball team took down the Mules of Muhlenberg 71-60. The Shoremen were led by
Ethan Schwantes who scored career-high points and rebounds with 27 and 16 respectively.

How It Happened
- Precieux Tshibangu started the scoring off for the Shoremen 38 seconds into the game. His three-point jump shot was good off a Nolan Waldon assist.
- The Shoremen were up 14-9 on the Mules with 12 minutes remaining in the half as Ethan Schwantes slammed down a dunk from Ty Woodland to put the Shoremen up seven. Schwantes scored six more points in the half to lead the Shoremen's 14-13 run at the end of the half. The Shoremen led by eight, 30-22 at the conclusion of the first 20 minutes.
- Davis Bland sunk a three-point shot from Woodland to start the scoring off for the Shoremen in the second half. The Shoremen had a comfortable lead for the half. Muhlenberg was within two, 57-55 until Schwantes slammed down a dunk from Waldon which swung momentum in the Shoremen's favor.
- The Shoremen went on a 12-5 run to end the second half and took down the Mules 71-60.
