How It Happened
- The Shorewomen had two looks on goal early in the first half. Four minutes into the game, Bridget Whiteside had a shot that was saved by the Haverford goalie earning the Shorewomen a corner kick. Brianna Gavini took a header shot off the corner entry by Dahlia Kuzemka that was just wide right of the goal.
- Emily Kopanicak had the last look at the goal for the Shorewomen in the first half. Her attempt with 22 seconds left was saved by the Haverford goalie in the middle of the net. The Shorewomen went into halftime controlling possession and outshooting their opponent, 11-4.
- The Shorewomen went up 25 minutes into the second half. Whiteside from Jackie Pascual squeezed a shot in between the goalie and the left side post to put the Shorewomen on the board.
- The Shorewomen defense held The Fords to zero goals out of eight shots and secured the game, 1-0.
