Men's Swimming

Nathan Rawa - Shoreman of the Week

Junior men's swimmer Nathan Rawa (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Rawa set program records in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle and had four top six finishes at the 2025 Franklin & Marshall Invitational this past weekend.

Rawa on Friday became program's fastest-ever swimmer in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.81 in the preliminary round. In the finals, the junior improved on that mark in 20.80, earning a third-place finish in the event. He broke a nine-year old record that was set by Cody Weiler '18 at the 2016 Centennial Conference Championships (20.88). On Sunday, he bested his own top all-time mark in the 100 freestyle with a time of 46.14 in the preliminary round in the morning and in the night session, placed sixth with a time of 46.21. On Saturday night, he earned second in the 100 back with a time of 50.48 and in the 100 butterfly was fourth in 50.18. The junior owns the team's best time in the history of the program in five different events (50 and 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly and 100 individual medley).

This is Rawa's fourth career Shoreman of the Week honor.
