Brooklyn, NY– The Washington College Men's Basketball team take down St. Joseph's of Brooklyn in their second competition in New York, 93-63.

How It Happened
- St. Joseph's hopped out to a four-point lead within the first minute of play. The Shoremen tied it up, 8-8 in the fourth minute of play with a three-pointer by Jon Nalty. The Shoremen captured the lead for the first time with a Davis Bland three seven minutes in, 16-13.
- The Shoremen maintained the lead for the rest of the half, but St. Joseph's put up a fight coming within one point of the Shoremen with six minutes left, 24-23. Two free throws by Jaedon Harris and another Bland three put the Shoremen up six, with five left to play in the half.
- Ryan Lang nailed a three from a pass by Nalty with 1:15 left in the half to put the Shoremen up by their biggest lead with 12, 39-27. The Shoremen went into the half up nine, 39-30.
- The second half brought multiple unanswered runs for the Shoremen. St. Joseph's of Brooklyn scored first coming out of the half, but Max Portnoy led a nine to zero scoring run for the Shoremen right after to put the Shoremen up, 48-32 within the first three minutes of the half.
- The Shoremen had an 11-0 scoring run soon after then St. Joseph's sunk two baskets in a row with 10 left to play. The Shoremen held a comfortable lead at 23 points, 65-42. The rest of the game was all Shoremen as they put 93 points up against St. Joseph's who scored 63 to end the game.
