Chestertown, MD- The Washington College Women's Basketball Team outlasted Swarthmore 45-37. Kaitlyn Boggs recorded another double-double, ending the night with ten points and twelve rebounds.

How It Happened
- The first bucket of the game for the Shorewomen came in the fourth minute as Emma Robinson was able to find Abby Meredith off a back door cut. Meredith's layup tied the score 2-2.
- The score was 7-4, Shorewomen up, at the end of the quarter. Meredith opened the scoring in the second quarter for the Shorewomen 30 seconds in as she sank a three pointer from a Kiersten Rose pass.
- Washington College outscored Swarthmore 17-2 to end the quarter. The Shorewomen scoring was led by Karry Kelliher with eight points, two three-pointers and two free throws. The Shorewomen led 27-13 heading into halftime.
- The Shorewomen scored nine points in the third quarter. Kaitlyn Boggs scored two field goals, Meredith recorded a three, and Robinson and Maggie Lawrence each scored two. The Shorewomen were up ten, 36-26 heading into the final ten minutes.
- Swarthmore put up a fight in the last quarter of the night as they came within five of the Shorewomen with 1:08 remaining in the quarter. A Rose layup followed by a Boggs defensive block gave the Shorewomen the ball back, up 42-37 with 42 seconds to go. Boggs would score one free throw after being fouled by Swarthmore to stop the clock with 38 seconds left. That would be the last point of the game for either team as the Shorewomen survive Swarthmore, 43-37.
