MADISON, N.J. – Visiting Washington College notched a 5-2 win against host Drew on Friday night inside the Simon Center in non-conference women's tennis action.

Doubles
- The Shorewomen won two of three in doubles to pick up the doubles point. Third doubles finished first as
Isabella Sorhegui and
Gaby Coutts coasted to a 6-0 win for the Shorewomen. Second doubles was next to come to a close and the duo of
Carrie Lord and
Soleil Namunyola clinched the doubles point for Washington in a 6-2 victory. Drew picked up a 6-4 win at first doubles over
Eva Kading and
Sofia Sperandei.
Singles
- Sorhegui gave the Shorewomen a 2-0 lead with a 6-2, 6-0 win.
- The Rangers notched a 6-4, 6-1 win over WC's Kading at the top flight to trim the Shorewomen's lead to 2-1.
- In second singles, Namunyola picked up the win due to retirement by the Drew player who took the first set 7-6 (7-5) and the second set was tied 3-3 when it finished.
- Speradei fell to the Rangers, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 at No. 3 singles as Washington's lead was cut to 3-2.

Jayda Browne clinched the win for Washington with a 6-4, 6-0 triumph at No. 5.
- Lord ended the match with a 6-3, 6-3 win at sixth singles.

- The Shorewomen are 2-0 on the season, while the Rangers are 3-3.
