GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Host #12 Gettysburg never trailed on its way to a 58-39 win over visiting Washington College on Friday night in the semifinal of the Centennial Conference Women's Basketball Tournament inside Bream Gym. The Bullets, the two seed, improve to 24-2 and will play top seeded, #17 Johns Hopkins on Sunday in the tournament final, while the Shorewomen, the tournament's fourth seed, conclude their campaign at 17-10.

How It Happened
- The two teams combined for just 16 points in the opening quarter with the Bullets leading 9-7 after one. The last field goal came on a long two-pointer by
Taylor Shane with 4:42 left that trimmed the Gettysburg advantage to 8-7.
- After
Karry Kelliher banked in a long two with 6:14 remaining in the second quarter that reduced the Gettysburg lead to one, 17-16, the home side scored 10 straight points to take a 27-16 lead with 2:58 to go before halftime.

Emma Robinson would cap the first half scoring 21 seconds later on a layup to make it 27-18 for the Bullets at halftime.
- In the third, after falling down by 10, 30-20, the Shorewomen netted seven of the next nine points, all by
Abby Meredith, to cut the lead to 32-27 with 3:27 left.
- Gettysburg responded by notching the final seven points of the third quarter to lead 39-27 after three.
- After the Bullets took a 46-29 lead just 2:05 into the fourth, the Shorewomen made one last push by scoring eight of the next 10 points to reduce the Gettysburg lead to 48-37 with 2:25 remaining on a Meredith jumper in the paint.
- That's as close as Washington would get as Gettysburg tallied 10 of the final 12 points to provide the final margin.

- WC shot 33% from the floor (16-for-49), 25% from three-point range (3-for-12) and 40% (4-for-10) from the foul line in the game.
- The Shorewomen turned it over 19 times, while grabbing 31 rebounds.
Notes
- In the other semifinal game this evening, top seed #17 Johns Hopkins took down sixth seeded Dickinson, 63-51.
- The 17 wins ties the 2021-22 squad for the most wins in program history.
- Tonight was the final contest in a WC uniform for Kelliher, Rose and
Avery Thomas. The trio won 62 games over four seasons, the most for any class in the history of the program. The three reached the conference tournament in all four seasons and the semifinals on three occasions.
