Sophomore men's swimmer James Hackett (Brielle, N.J./Manasquan) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Hackett was a part of two Casey Swim Center pool record relay teams and won one individual event in a 150-54 win over visiting Susquehanna on Saturday in the regular season finale.
In the 400-yard medley relay, Hackett joined Nathan Rawa, Chase Hensen and Justin Fitzpatrick to set the Casey Swim Center pool record with a time of 3:29.88, swimming the anchor leg, and in the 200 freestyle relay he was teamed up with Rawa, William Schmidt and Hensen earned the pool top time in 1:26.48. He also prevailed in the 200 freestyle (1:47.41) for the individual win.
This is Hackett's first career Shoreman of the Week honor.
