SALISBURY Md. – Washington College fell to #5 Salisbury 20-6 in a non-conference women's lacrosse matchup on the road against the Salisbury Sea Gulls at Sea Gull Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Shorewomen have lost their third straight outing, falling to 1-3 to start the season.

How It Happened
- The Shorewomen got on the board first with a free position goal from
Elisabeth Braswell 3:14 into the game. The Sea Gulls answered back with a four-goal run, to take the lead 4-1 with 5:09 to go in the first quarter.

Tobin Chambers scored an up goal for the final score of the inaugural quarter from
Mia Salvatierra. The Sea Gulls led 4-2 after one quarter.

Piper Evans scored two unassisted goals in the second quarter alongside a single goal from
Anna Wilson as WC trailed just 7-5 with 5:29 left. Salisbury scored eight goals in the second quarter, including the last four, to keep the lead going into the intermission, 11-5.
- Chambers added the only second half goal for the Shorewomen, finding the back of the net with just over seven minutes to go in the contest.Â
