How It Happened

• York jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Mia Salvatierra cut the lead in half off an assist from MaryCate Anson. 
• Salvatierra and Tobin Chambers scored back-to-back goals to cut the deficit to 4-3 with 12:51 remaining in the first half. 
• The Spartans scored the next nine goals before Salvatierra scored an unassisted goal in the third quarter. The Shorewomen trailed, 13-4. 
• Piper Evans and Chambers scored the final two goals for the Shorewomen in the final thirty seconds of the fourth quarter, both unassisted. The late offensive push fell short as the Shorewomen were taken down by the Spartans, 16-6.
