CARLISLE, Pa. – Junior attacker
Mia Salvatierra (Bel Air, Md./Fallston) became the 17th player in the history Shorewomen Lacrosse to reach 100 career goals and 150 all-time points in addition to netting her 50th career assist as visiting Washington College won its Centennial Conference opener in a 15-8 win against host Dickinson on Saturday afternoon at Biddle Field in Centennial Conference women's lacrosse action. The Shorewomen extend their winning streak to three games and are now 4-5 overall and 1-0 in the conference, while the Red Devils are 5-4 and 0-1 respectively.

How It Happened
- Salvatierra scored her 100th career goal 3:14 into the first quarter to give Washington a 3-0 lead to highlight a game-opening 6-0 run that was finished off by
Piper Evans with 4:13 to go in the stanza. The Shorewomen held a 6-0 advantage after one.
- Dickinson held a 2-1 edge in the second quarter with Washington taking a 7-2 lead into halftime.
- Leading 9-3 in the third quarter, Salvatierra achieved her 150th career point and 50th all-time helper on a goal by
Tobin Chambers with 11:05 to go to put the road team ahead 10-3.
- Chambers gave the Shorewomen their biggest lead of the game of nine goals with 2:16 left in the stanza, 13-4, on a feed from
Anna Wilson to close out the scoring in the third.
- The Red Devils totaled the first four goals of the fourth trim the lead to 13-8 with 7:13 to go on an up goal, but Salvatierra derailed the run 48 seconds later on an up goal of her to make it 14-8.
- Evans provided the final margin on an unassisted goal with 79 seconds left.

Morgan Sutherland '24 netted the milestone at Muhlenberg on May 1, 2024 in the Centennial Conference Tournament. Salvatierra ends today with 101 goals and 51 assists for 152 points, ranking 16th in squad history in points and 17th in scores. The junior is also ranks 17th in WC history in helpers as she became the 18th in program history to record 50 assists..Â
