SALISBURY, Md. – Host Salisbury won four out six in singles to overcome losing doubles in a 5-4 win over visiting Washington College on Friday afternoon at the SU Outdoor Tennis Center in non-conference women's tennis action.

Doubles
- The Shorewomen won two out of three in doubles to win the doubles point. The third doubles duo of
Isabella Sorhegui and
Jayda Browne won 6-1 for the Shorewomen. The Sea Gulls tied it at 1-1 at the top flight in a 6-3 win against
Eva Kading and
Soleil Namunyola. Doubles came down to No. 2 and the Shorewomen took the point with a 7-6 (7-5) triumph by
Sofia Sperandei and
Carrie Lord.
Singles
- Namunyola cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles to give WC a 2-0 lead.
- Salisbury won its first point at first with a 6-2, 6-1 result against Kading.
- Sorhegui was on the short end of a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) match at third singles as the Sea Gulls tied it at 2-2.
- Sperandei after dropping the opening set at No. 5, 6-4, won the second set 6-3, but dropped the third set 6-2 as the home side took a 3-2 lead.
- Salisbury clinched the win at No. 4 singles with a comeback win by scores of 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 against Browne.

Gaby Coutts, took home victory at No. 6 for WC by scores of 6-4, 4-6, 6-1.
Notes
- The Shorewomen are 2-4 on the season, while the Sea Gulls are 8-3.
