CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Host #48 Washington College won two of three in doubles to capture the doubles point, but #16 Haverford won all six singles matches to take a 6-1 win on Wednesday afternoon at Schottland Tennis Center in a Centennial Conference men's tennis match.

Doubles
- The Shoremen grabbed two of three doubles matches to earn the point. The top flight finished first and it was a 6-1 win for
Sihoo Kim and
Tichi Chialva coasted to a 6-1 win. Washington secured the win at No. 3 as Jorge
Urgal Zuleta and
Demir Isiker outlasted the Fords' duo by a 7-5 score. Haverford took No. 2 doubles in the final match versus
Oskar Wroblewski and
Aaradith Ravichandran, 7-6, winning the tiebreaker, 8-6.
Singles
- Third singles was the first to conclude in a 6-1, 6-4 win for the Fords over Isiker.
- No. 1 singles finished first as Haverford's Marko Arboleda, ranked 18th in the Atlantic South Region, topped Kim, 6-4, 6-2.
- Haverford took a 3-1 lead after winning at fifth singles, 6-4, 6-1 versus
Kohl Perkins.
- The Fords took the match at No. 4 with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) victory over Urgal Zuleta.
- Ravichandran overcame a 6-4 loss in the first set at No. 2 to win 6-4 in the second set to force a decisive third set where the Fords took a 6-2 result to win in three.
- In the last match to end,
Julian Sealy won the opening set for WC 7-6 (8-6), but dropped the next two to the Fords, 6-2, 1-0 (10-1).
Notes
- #48 Washington is now 9-7 overall and 3-2 in the Centennial, while the Fords, ranked fourth in the Atlantic South Region, improve to 12-2 and 4-0 respectively.
