CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting #19 Haverford downed host Washington College, 16-9, in a Centennial Conference women's lacrosse game on Wednesday evening at Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium in the home finale. The Fords improve to 12-4 overall and 5-2 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen fall to 7-9 and 3-4 respectively.

How It Happened
- After
Elisabeth Braswell cut the Haverford lead to 3-2 with 5:17 to go in the opening quarter, the Fords scored the last two goals to lead 5-2 after one.
- In the second quarter, each team scored once in the opening 2:20 as Haverford led 6-3 before going on a 6-1 run to end the stanza and take a 12-4 lead into halftime.Â
Mia Salvatierra scored the Shorewomen's lone goal during the run on an up score on a free position with 6:39 left.
- The Fords held a 3-2 edge in the third quarter, while the Shorewomen netted a 3-1 advantage in the fourth.
