CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting #2 Salisbury downed host Washington College, 20-6, to retain the Charles B. Clark Cup on Friday night in the annual "War on the Shore" on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium in non-conference men's lacrosse action. The Sea Gulls are now 17-0 on the season, while the Shoremen drop to 7-10.Â

How It Happened
- The Shoremen scored the game's opening goal 2:11 into the game on an unassisted goal by
Cory Morgan.
- After Salisbury scored the next three to take a 3-1 lead with 7:25 to go in the opening quarter,
Nate Winters stole a clearing attempt and scored to cut the lead to 3-2 with 6:23 left in the first.
- The Sea Gulls tallied the next four before Winters finished off the scoring in the first with four ticks to go to trim it to 7-3 after one.
- In the second quarter, Salisbury scored all five goals to lead 12-3 at halftime.
- Salisbury outscored WC 4-1 in the third quarter and 4-2 in the fourth stanza to provide the final margin.
