CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Three Washington College women's rowers have earned All-Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) honors. Senior
Jordan Hyde (Mt. Airy, Md./Urbana) was tabbed to the first team, junior
Maura Collins (St. Louis, Mo./Parkway West) landed on the second team and freshman
Meredith Bedell (Deerfield, Mass./Tabor Academy) gained All-Novice recognition.
Hyde is a three-time All-MARC first team selection and was All-Novice in 2022, while Collins is a first-time selection. Hyde is the first rower from Washington College to earn All-MARC first team on three occasions.
Shorewomen Rowing has had 36 All-MARC selections and 16 All-Novice picks since the start of the conference in 2008-09.
Collins and Hyde were also named to the MARC All-Academic Team and were joined by senior
Amy MacNair (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn), junior
Kyaran Balin-Brooks (Rockville, Md./Walter Johnson), sophomore
Katherine McMenemy (Barre, Mass./Quabbin Regional) and sophomore
Kelsey Sanderell (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley). To be named to the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5, be at least in their second year of eligibility and competed in 75% of varsity competitions or competed in the MARC Championships.
