Chestertown, MD- The Washington College Men's Soccer Team ended in a draw with the Cardinals of Catholic University, 2-2. The Shoremen went up first and scored last, scoring the tying goal off a penalty shot.

How It Happened
- Four minutes and forty-seven seconds into the game, Tucker Sprano served a ball into the middle of the box from the left side of the goal. Simone Perin was able to get his head on the ball and send it past the Catholic goalie's right side to put the Shoremen on the board, 1-0.
- Catholic scored in the 24th minute of the first half to tie the score, 1-1.
- Catholic had two more shots on goal to the Shoremen's one, but the defenses held each other to 1-1 at the end of the half.
- Catholic scored their second goal seven minutes into the second half.
- In the 60th minute of play, Jordan Waiganjo was tripped in the box resulting in a penalty kick for the Shoremen. Tshazi Kamau took the shot for the Shoremen and sent it to the left side of the net. The score was tied, 2-2.
- Catholic out shot the Shoremen in the second half nine to two, but couldn't score again as Shoremen goalkeeper, Calvin Field tallied three saves in the second half. The game ended in a draw, 2-2.
