Sprano Scores for Washington from Kamau

GALLOWAY, N.J. – Host Stockton snapped a 1-1 tie with 24:25 left in the game with the deciding goal to come away with a 2-1 win over visiting Washington College on Tuesday night at G. Larry James Stadium in a non-conference men's soccer contest. The Ospreys are now 5-2-2 on the season, while the Shoremen are now 3-3-2.

How It Happened
- Stockton scored the only goal of the first half at the 27:54 mark into the lower left of the goal just inside the left post to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
- The Shoremen would tie the game 8:29 into the second half as the initial shot by Tshazi Kamau was saved by the Ospreys' goalkeeper at eight yards, but Tucker Sprano grabbed the rebound and from about 15 yards away, struck the shot into the upper left corner to even it at 1-1.
- In the 66th minute, Stockton earned a corner kick and the corner found the head of an Osprey and the shot bounced, hit the crossbar and dropped into the lower left corner to give the home side a one-goal lead.
- Washington had three shots following the goal to get the equalizer, including two on target with Tyler Davidson getting the last shot with 6:16 to go in the contest, but it was saved.

- Scoring: Sprano (goal), Kamau (assist)
- Goalkeeper: Calvin Field (1 save, 2 goals allowed, 90:00)
- Washington had 11 shots and took five corner kicks in the contest.

Notes
- Kamau has now tallied a point in four straight games. During the streak, he has one goal and four assists for six points.
