Senior field hockey player MaryCate Anson (Newark, Del./Newark Charter) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Anson factored in three of the Shorewomen's four goals this past week.

On Wednesday at #T18 Rowan, Anson scored 3:55 into the second quarter. In the team's conference opener at Gettysburg on Saturday, the senior netted the team's first goal 3:40 into the contest and then with 47 seconds left in the third tallied an assist on a goal by Erin Houlihan.

This is Anson's second career Shorewoman of the Week honor in field hockey and third overall as she earned the honor in women's lacrosse on April 22, 2024.
