TOWSON, Md. – The Washington College volleyball team won both of its matches in a tri-match on Saturday at the Decker Sports & Recreation Center in a pair of non-conference volleyball matches. In the first match, the Shorewomen topped host Goucher, 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 26-24) in the second contest, WC took care of Saint Elizabeth, 3-0 (25-16, 25-11, 25-12). The Shorewomen have won three straight matches and are now 3-4 on the season.

How It Happened
- In the first set, Washington led 15-13 before rolling off 10 of the final 12 points to win by 10.
Emma Shaner capped the opening set with a kill.
- The Shorewomen led 7-6 in the second set before taking control of the set with a 6-0 run to take a 13-6 advantage on an attack error by the Gophers. Shaner finished off the second with a kill.
- Goucher led 24-22 in the third set before WC rallied with four unanswered points to grab the set and match.
Anna Titter tied it at 24-24 on a service ace and the Shorewomen took the lead on a hitting miscue by the home side. Titter would tally another ace for the set and match clinching point.

- Leading 17-14 in the first set, the Shorewomen finished off the set on a 9-2 run to win by nine points.
Alexis Stubbs secured the set with an ace.
- In the second set, WC won the final five points to take the set as it got the set-winning point on a bad set by the Eagles.
- Washington led Saint Elizabeth 21-12 in the third set before rolling off the last four points to clinch the set and match as
Allison McKechnie served an ace to give the Shorewomen a 2-0 mark on the day.
