LANCASTER, Pa. – Host #25 Franklin & Marshall topped visiting Washington College 79-61 on Wednesday night in Centennial Conference men's basketball action at the Mayser Center. The Diplomats are now 16-2 overall and 5-1 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen are now 10-8 and 0-6 respectively.

How It Happened
- Franklin &Marshall jumped out to a 10-4 lead 4:01 into the game following a layup.
- The Shoremen would respond with 13 of the following 18 points to take a 17-15 advantage with 12:01 to go in the first half on a
Ryan Lang three-pointer.
- F&M would score 19 of the next 27 points to take a 34-25 edge before Lang beat the buzzer with a triple from the right side to cut the deficit to 34-28 at halftime.Â
- After the home side took a 16-point lead with 15:15 to go in the second half, 46-30, Washington went on a 16-9 run to trim the lead to 55-45 with 9:43 left on three free throws by
Jaedon Harris.
- The Diplomats would close the game out with 24 of the final 40 points to provide the final margin.
