CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Gettysburg won the final two sets to capture a 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-11, 25-19) result over host Washington College on Saturday afternoon inside Penny J. Fall Gymnasium in a Centennial Conference volleyball match. The Bullets are now 11-4 overall and 1-0 in the conference, while the Shorewomen are 9-5 and 0-1 respectively.

How It Happened
- Washington had a slow start early in the first set as Gettysburg won the first five points. The Shorewomen would respond to trim the lead to two points on six occasions before falling by five, 25-20, with a Bullets' kill ending the opening set.
Izzy Diehl had two kills and two aces, while
Gianna Folke had a team-best five kills in set one.
- In the second set, the Shorewomen scored seven straight points after losing the first point to lead 7-1 following a
Lyndsey Wessel kill. The Bullets would respond to lead 13-12 following an assisted block. The two teams would go back-and-forth battle in the set before Washington took control with a 6-1 run to lead 22-18 with Diehl tallying three kills during the run. The visitors' responded with a 6-1 run of their own to cut it to 24-23 on a solo block, but Folke gave the home side the second set on a kill to win 25-23. Diehl had nine finishers in the second set, while Folke added six as WC hit .317 as a squad.
- The third set saw the Bullets take control with six consecutive points to lead 8-3 on a kill. Gettysburg won the third set on an ace to take it by 14.
- Tied at 15-15 in the fourth and final set, a 5-2 run by Gettysburg gave it a 20-17 lead and the lead for the rest of the match. The Bullets would win the final four points to capture the contest with a kill concluding the match. Diehl had four kills and
Emma Shaner had three finishers in the match.

- Diehl (match-best 17 kills to go with 12 digs), Folke (14 kills to tie personal-high),
